The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.
Due to continued growth of the company and an immediate contract award, we are recruiting for HGV Class 2 Clamshell grab drivers. As a clamshell grab driver, you will be responsible for collecting and delivering materials to various sites across East Anglia. The candidate will work with our surfacing, civil gangs as well as various building sites and the general public in the local area.
Within the role you will be responsible for:
- Loading of the vehicle and ensuring materials are safely loaded.
- Driving on the highway, building and landfill sites.
- Complying with all legislation in line with driving hours and working time directive.
- Driving, loading and unloading with the grab.
- Carrying out work onsite in a pleasant manner.
- Filling out job tickets of materials delivered/waste collected.
You will need:
- Valid Class 2 License
- Current Hiab crane certificate and clamshell bucket module preferred
- Hold Driver CPC and Driver Tacho Card
Good rates of pay, rate of pay negotiable, guaranteed 45-50 hours per week, full training and PPE provided.
