As a major supplier of specialist highway electrical services, our streetlighting teams maintain and design over 350,000 street lighting assets. Want to come and be a part of it? What you'll be doing Control of the stock in and out of the depot by use of the stores issue sheets. Ensuring all deliveries are checked against the delivery notes and stored away in their relevant locations. General cleanliness and tidiness of the stores and yard to be kept to a high standard and health and safety to be adhered to and implemented at all times. Maintaining a clean and orderly depot. Issuing stock out to operatives on a daily basis ensuring it is booked to the correct contract and job. Receiving deliveries, checking them against delivery notes Return any stock back into the depot Monitor minimum stock levels and reorder as required Phone suppliers to obtain quotes – 3 required for nonstandard items approval from clients Completion of requisitions for materials into stock or to job and update req tracker Recording of GRNs and stock transactions in Oracle Daily input of stock issued and returned by operatives Transfer of stock between stock accounts, FGloss, Client stock, write off Matched or contributory pension scheme Online GP service, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year Employee assistance programme My Rewards portal, access to 1000’s of retail discounts Life assurance Cycle to work, salary finance and give as you earn schemes Enhanced maternity, paternity leave and adoption leave Reward and recognition scheme In addition, this role offers; 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays Recommend a friend – get rewarded for introducing people to us!
