Where will you be working? At M Group Energy, we’re enabling the energy essential to support our lives. We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation. This role will be within our Transmission Overhead Lines team. We design, build and commission substations at voltages up to and including 400kV. Our teams construct and maintain transmission lines and substations, ensuring the efficient and reliable delivery of electricity. Want to come and be a part of it? What will you be doing? As a Foreman, your key responsibility will be supporting the General Foreman in the safe and efficient delivery of Transmission projects. You’ll coordinate site teams, plant, equipment and daily activities to ensure works are completed to programme, specification and client requirements. You’ll take the lead on site-level safety, quality and productivity, working closely with project teams, subcontractors, clients and internal departments to resolve issues, maintain progress and drive good operational performance. Lead by example showing a positive safety culture and encourage behaviours to prevent harm to people. Maintain the highest possible standards. Confirm that the team are adhering to the relevant work instructions (WI) and risk assessments (RA) as supplied in site safe work pack (SSWP). Undertake Safety Conversations Reports (SCR) on site with M Group and sub-contracted staff. Including Daily “Blue Hat Chats” with lesser experienced persons.
