The Role

As Tenancy Manager, youll play a key role in managing tenancies across a national portfolio, helping to minimise void periods and maximise rental income while delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Youll be responsible for overseeing tenancy lifecycles, leading rent review processes, and building strong relationships with residents to support long-term retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor tenancy anniversaries and key portfolio milestones
- Manage tenancy renewals and negotiate rent reviews with residents
- Issue rent review notices in line with current legislation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date tenancy records and systems
- Work closely with internal teams (e.g. Property Management & Finance) to ensure smooth processes
- Support residents throughout their journey, handling enquiries and providing timely updates
- Draft tenancy documentation and assist with rental payment setup (e.g. Direct Debits)
- Deliver against key performance indicators including occupancy, retention, and customer satisfaction
- Ensure full compliance with UK lettings legislation and internal processes
- Provide regular reporting to senior leadership
What Were Looking For
- Proven experience in residential lettings, tenancy management, or renewals (essential)
- Strong understanding of UK lettings legislation and compliance requirements
- Knowledge of the Build-to-Rent (BTR) or Private Rented Sector (PRS) is advantageous
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage a busy workload, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines
- A collaborative team player with a proactive and positive approach
- Confident using MS Office and property/lettings systems
- A problem-solver who can think on their feet and deliver solutions
