We are looking for an immediate start for this temporary contract. This is an Assistant Manager role to join a busy PBSA (Student Accommodation) scheme in Birmingham and support the day-to-day running of the property. This is a hands-on role where you'll help deliver outstanding resident service, support leasing activity, and assist with operational, facilities, and welfare responsibilities.
Working closely with the senior management team, you'll play a key part in ensuring the building runs smoothly and residents receive a first-class experience.
Key responsibilities:- Support daily property operations and resident services.
- Assist with leasing, marketing, viewings, renewals, and enquiry handling.
- Help coordinate check-ins, check-outs, and room turnarounds.
- Support maintenance, H&S, and compliance processes.
- Act as a first point of contact for resident queries, concerns, and welfare issues.
- Assist with events, community engagement, and customer experience initiatives.
- Experience in PBSA, property management, hospitality, or a customer-facing environment.
- Confident, organised, and able to use your own initiative.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- A good understanding of customer service, sales, and operational support.
- Flexible to work additional hours when needed during peak periods.
