We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation in the exhibitions and events industry for an Event Operations Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly organised individual who is passionate about events and looking to build a long-term career in the sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in the planning, coordination and on-site delivery of a range of nationally and internationally recognised events. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working on high-profile events while developing a career within a growing and exciting industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operational and organisational aspects of exhibitions and events
  • Coordinate event administration and planning activities across multiple projects
  • Liaise with clients, venues, suppliers and contractors to ensure smooth event delivery
  • Oversee floor plan management and event logistics
  • Support and lead the on-site management of events from set-up through to completion
  • Ensure excellent communication with stakeholders at all levels
  • Maintain high standards of customer service throughout the event lifecycle

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in event planning, event operations, or exhibition management
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organisational and leadership abilities
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Experience with budget management is advantageous
  • A degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred but not essential
