We are seeking one to two hungry, tenacious Business Development Executives to join their growing team. This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious sales professional to build a long-term career with a company that delivers high-end, multi-million-pound projects for clients in the pharmaceutical and aerospace sectors.
This isn’t about quick wins or volume; it’s about smashing the phones, unearthing new business, and nurturing lasting client partnerships.
What You’ll Be Doing- Proactive Business Development: Systematically identify and engage with new business opportunities by smashing the phones and unearthing new business within target markets, particularly the pharmaceutical and aerospace industries.
- Relationship Building: Develop strong, long-term relationships with clients, providing a consultative and high-touch service.
- Strategic Pitches: Conduct virtual and face-to-face meetings to present bespoke exhibition solutions that meet client needs.
- Account Ownership: Manage your clients from initial contact through to project completion and beyond, retaining ownership of your accounts for the long term.
- International Travel: Represent the company at trade shows and client events 5-6+ times per year, with a focus on Europe, the Middle East, and the US.
- Proven experience in B2B sales or business development, with a track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to navigate longer sales cycles.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach to finding and developing new business.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel internationally.
- Full UK driving licence and a valid passport.
- A competitive base salary of £35,000 - £45,000.
- An attractive commission structure of 2% on the final sale value, with full account ownership.
