We are supporting the NEC Venue in Solihull with the search for a highly organised Operations Coordinator to join their team on an ongoing temporary basis. This role would suit a strong administrator or coordinator who is confident working in a fast paced venue environment and enjoys being at the centre of logistics, scheduling and supplier coordination.

Working as part of the venue operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating rigging crews across multiple halls, ensuring bookings are accurate, schedules are maintained and paperwork is completed correctly. You will act as a key point of contact between internal teams, suppliers and rigging partners.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Booking and scheduling rigging teams across multiple venue halls
  • Coordinating daily and weekly operational requirements
  • Raising and processing invoices and purchase orders
  • Maintaining accurate records and systems
  • Liaising with internal venue teams and external suppliers
  • Supporting the smooth delivery of events from an operational perspective

About you

  • Strong administrative or coordination experience
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident using systems, spreadsheets and email
  • Comfortable working in a busy, operational environment
  • Experience within events, venues or logistics would be an advantage
  • Available for an ongoing temporary role
