Office Administrator | Live Events & Exhibitions

Brand Experience & Exhibition Agency

Lichfield (office-based, Monday to Friday)

Our client is a busy, fast-growing brand experience and exhibitions business based in Lichfield. They design, produce and deliver exhibition stands, brand activations, travel retail installations and festival activations for some seriously big drinks and consumer brands, with their own workshop, print production and warehousing all under one roof. Recent work includes dressing a superyacht at Cannes, and new business is landing faster than ever. They need a brilliant Office Administrator to keep the whole operation running smoothly.

What You'll Be Doing

Reporting to the Managing Director, you'll be the go-to person in the office, keeping everyone moving so the project and production teams can focus on delivering amazing live events and exhibitions. One minute you'll be answering the phones and booking hotels for a show crew, the next you'll be raising invoices in Xero or arranging couriers, transport and shipping so kit gets where it needs to be. You'll track down products online at short notice, and when a job needs to go out fast, you'll roll up your sleeves and help pick and pack it.

No two days are the same. The exhibitions and live events world runs on quick turnarounds and last-minute changes, so you'll love a busy, varied day and get a buzz from being the person who sorts things. As the business grows, there's a real path into project coordination, account or operations roles (and yes, being able to make a decent brew will be appreciated).

What You’ll Bring

  • Office administration experience, ideally within live events, exhibitions, logistics or a fast-paced small business

  • Experience using Xero, ideally for invoicing

  • Confidence booking travel, hotels, couriers and shipping

  • Good working knowledge of Excel and Word, with Monday.com a bonus

  • A great phone manner, excellent timekeeping and strong organisational skills

  • A can‑do attitude, happy to muck in wherever you're needed

What's in it for you

  • Monday to Friday, 9 to 5, with free parking on site

  • 25 days' holiday (including three days over Christmas and New Year) plus bank holidays

  • When things are quiet, the business often closes for two weeks over Christmas

  • Clear progression into project coordinator, account and operations roles

  • A behind‑the‑scene view of big-brand exhibitions, festivals and live events

  • A friendly, close-knit team with plenty of banter and good music
