Job Title: Marketing Manager – Beauty Portfolio
Reporting to: Head of Marketing
Location: Coventry
WFH Policy: 4 days office based, 1 day work from home

About the Role: Lead the marketing for the beauty exhibitions portfolio – Tones of Beauty (UK) and Beauty West Africa (Nigeria). This role involves planning, executing, and managing all marketing activity for the portfolio, from strategy to post-event analysis, with a strong focus on creativity and commercial impact.
Key Objectives
- Drive qualified visitor attendance and exhibitor leads for both events.
- Build the brand presence of our beauty exhibitions in the UK, West Africa, and globally.
- Establish and maintain relationships with beauty industry leaders, associations, and influencers.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning & Execution
- Design integrated, multi-channel campaigns targeting exhibitors, distributors, retailers, salon owners, and other key visitor groups.
- Monitor UK beauty trends and incorporate them into campaign messaging.
- Identify and secure partnerships with industry associations, media outlets, and influencers to expand reach.
- Industry Networking & Relationship Building
- Attend industry events, exhibitions, and association meetings (primarily in London) to network with key players and foster partnerships.
- Represent the brand with credibility, building relationships that translate into attendance, sponsorships, and collaborations.
- Messaging & Brand Positioning
- Craft compelling, tailored messaging for each audience segment.
- Maintain a consistent and distinctive tone across all marketing channels.
- Data-Driven Marketing
- Set and track KPIs for each campaign.
- Analyse performance data to guide campaign optimisation.
- Use tools such as CRM, analytics platforms, and AI-driven solutions to enhance targeting and personalisation.
- Work closely with the Exhibition Managers to align sales and marketing efforts.
- Partner with the Senior Partnerships Executive and Social Media Manager to develop joint campaigns and partnerships.
- Brief and manage external agencies, ensuring deliverables meet timelines and budgets.
Key Requirements
- Proven understanding of the UK beauty industry (essential), including product categories, retail/distribution channels, and key players.
- Passion for the beauty sector and the ability to translate industry excitement into campaigns.
- Willingness to attend events and meetings in London and other UK hubs
- 3–5 years’ experience in B2B marketing (event marketing experience preferred).
- Data-driven, KPI-focused approach to campaign management.
- Familiarity with emerging marketing tools and trends, including AI-driven content and automation.
- Willingness to travel.
