Our client is a well-established exhibition design and build company based in Luton, creating immersive stand and event experiences for brands across the UK and internationally. They are a small, close-knit team that genuinely cares about creative quality and workmanship, and they are growing.

This is a new business role at heart. You will go out and find clients who need exhibition stands and creative environments built, and you will own those relationships from first conversation through to handover. The exhibition industry runs on an annual cycle with natural peaks and troughs, so a big part of the job is spotting where the gaps are and filling them with the right kind of work. You will work closely with the estimating, design and project teams, turning what a client tells you into a brief the designers can run with.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Generating your own leads and building a qualified pipeline
  • Hitting and beating monthly and annual sales targets
  • Attending trade shows and networking events to find and follow up new business
  • Growing and retaining the accounts you win
  • Negotiating pricing, quantities and delivery schedules
  • Translating client requirements into clear design briefs for the in-house designers
  • Keeping HubSpot accurate and forecasting your activity properly

What We Are Looking For:

  • At least 2/3 years in a sales or account management role
  • A track record of hitting and beating targets
  • Comfortable self-generating leads rather than waiting for them to land
  • Strong negotiator who can close
  • Confident presenting to clients and good with detail
  • CRM experience, HubSpot ideally
  • Exhibition, events or experiential background is a real plus, but a strong B2B seller with creative instincts will be considered, ideally in a creative or service led background

What Is On Offer:

  • 28 days holiday including bank holidays, plus your birthday off
  • Private medical insurance with AXA
  • Flexi start times between 08:00 and 10:00
  • Holiday Purchase Scheme, Cycle to Work Scheme and an Employee Assistance Programme
  • A genuinely uncapped opportunity to grow with a business that is investing in its commercial team

Benefits start on completion of probation. This is an office-based role in Luton, so you will need to be within a sensible commute.
