About The Company: Disrupt Talent is recruiting on behalf of a growing exhibition design and build business specialising in bespoke exhibition stands, modular build solutions, and branded environments for UK and international clients. With creativity, teamwork, and long-term growth at its core, the business is now looking to add a 3D Designer to its expanding design studio. The Role: This role is ideal for a 3D Designer at the early stages of their career who is keen to learn, develop, and gain hands-on experience within a supportive agency environment. You will work closely with the Head of Design, supporting the creation of 3D visuals and technical drawings for exhibition stands and live event environments. The role will primarily involve SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator, and rendering software such as V-Ray. While the role is predominantly remote, being within commuting distance of Huddersfield is strongly preferred to support regular studio collaboration, mentoring sessions, and in-person catch-ups. You will also gain exposure beyond core 3D design, including involvement in website updates and creative content, making this an excellent opportunity for a designer who enjoys variety and skill development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create 3D visuals for exhibition stands and live event environments
- Produce technical drawings to support build and delivery
- Assist with concept development and design refinements
- Support updates to the company website, including project case studies
- Assist with creative and graphic assets when required
- Collaborate closely with the design team and respond to feedback
- Develop skills in modular build systems and rendering tools (training provided)
- Prepare and check artwork files for print
- Manage multiple tasks and work to project deadlines
Skills & Experience:
Essential:
- Experience using SketchUp
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator
- A portfolio demonstrating 3D design and technical drawing ability
- Positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and eagerness to learn
Desirable (Training Provided Where Needed):
- Some professional or placement experience within exhibitions, events, interiors, or related fields
- Experience with V-Ray or similar rendering software
- Knowledge of modular build systems (e.g. BeMatrix)
- Wider Adobe Creative Suite experience (InDesign, Photoshop)
- Any exposure to graphic design (academic, freelance, or commercial)
