The Role
As Head of Production & Operations, you’ll be responsible for directing both technical and scenic production teams to ensure flawless execution across a wide variety of events. This senior role involves hands-on leadership across production operations, from planning and resource management to delivery and post-event evaluation. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing output across both technical and scenic production functions
- Streamlining operations to ensure efficiency and high production standards
- Working collaboratively with creative, account, and project teams
- Overseeing all health & safety processes across projects and production environments
- Managing the warehouse team, processes, and infrastructure
- Identifying opportunities for investment in production technologies and equipment
- Supporting skills development and identifying resourcing needs across departments
- Leading on financial management including cost tracking, budgeting, and P&L performance
About You
We’re looking for an experienced production leader with a background in large-scale, complex event delivery—ideally from a production agency or AV/events supplier. You’ll have hands-on technical and/or scenic production expertise, coupled with the leadership and commercial acumen needed to manage teams, drive operational improvement, and maintain the highest levels of client satisfaction. You will also require good experience and understanding of historic venues across London.
