About Our Client
We're recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing event organiser operating in a purpose-driven, forward-thinking sector. They run several major events each year, including a well-established flagship event alongside a newly launched show. It's a small, ambitious team - and this is a genuine opportunity to be part of their next stage of growth.
The Opportunity
Our client is looking for an Exhibition Sales Executive to join their sales team and drive new business for their flagship event. This is a true "hunter" role - you'll be generating leads and closing new business, through your own outbound efforts. You'll work across a blend of exhibition sales and sponsorship sales, giving you variety and the chance to build real commercial skill across both.
You'll have the backing of a tight-knit, focused sales team, all leads will be 100% self-sourced. This opportunity is best suited to individuals with an entrepreneurial, self-starting mindset who thrive on making things happen.
What You'll Be Doing
- Proactively generating and converting new business opportunities for the flagship event
- Selling a mix of exhibition space and sponsorship packages
- Working towards clear, ambitious targets: £200k new revenue per year, 20 proposals a month, and 1 sponsorship proposal a month
- Building your own pipeline and taking ownership of your results
What We're Looking For
- A polished, professional presence and strong communication skills
- A few years' sales experience, ideally with exposure to events, exhibitions, or sponsorship sales
- A genuine interest in the sector's mission is a real plus, but not essential
- Resilience, commitment, and comfort operating in a small, scaling business where you help shape how things are done
What's On Offer
- Base salary: £35-40k, depending on experience
- Commission: 25%, uncapped, paid on deposits - the more you sell, the more you earn, with no ceiling
- Location: London, with a 4 days in office / 1 day from home working pattern
- Impact: The opportunity to sell into a sector that's shaping the future, at a company where your contribution will be seen and valued
You'll be working closely with the Founder, who brings an entrepreneurial background and is looking for committed, results-driven people to help build something meaningful.
If you're ready to bring your sales drive to a mission that matters, we'd love to hear from you.
