Are you an experienced Event Technician with a passion for live events and AV technology? This is a permanent, onsite role with a global professional services firm — working within a high-end corporate environment and supporting world-class event spaces.
You\’ll take full ownership of AV event delivery, managing live broadcasts, webinars, and high-profile town halls. If you\’re confident with presentation tech, client-facing, and thrive in a fast-paced, premium setup — this one\’s for you.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily AV and technical support across event spaces
- Take ownership of events from planning to execution, ensuring smooth delivery
- Collaborate with the onsite AV Manager to plan resources and subcontract support where needed
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, planners, and stakeholders
- Support and manage webinars, presentations, and live broadcasts
- Deliver \”white glove\” service to VIP clients — technical meet-and-greet, setup, and support
- Document processes, generate reports, and conduct client debriefs
- Mentor junior AV technicians when required
- Liaise with helpdesk and engineering teams for system checks, repairs, and firmware updates
- Ensure all AV equipment and systems are regularly tested and event-ready
Qualifications
- What You Bring
- Strong technical background in AV/live event support
- Confident in client-facing environments with a polished, professional approach
- Experience supporting corporate AV systems, including live and hybrid events
- Calm under pressure with excellent multitasking and communication skills
- Well-organised, detail-oriented, and proactive
Working Knowledge
- Crestron, Q-SYS, Lightware
- LED walls, Shure mics, NEC displays
- Blackmagic, NDI, vision mixing
- Familiarity with digital AV environments, networking, and structured cabling
Working Hours
- Full-time, Monday to Friday (onsite at a central London location)
