Role Overview

This varied and hands-on role would suit either an ambitious graduate looking to break into the events industry or an early-career professional with up to 5 years’ experience looking for their next challenge. As an Event Operations Executive, you’ll gain invaluable experience across the full operational lifecycle—planning, executing, and supporting the delivery of large-scale event services. You’ll be part of a close-knit, knowledgeable team where you’ll be supported to grow and develop, while being trusted with real responsibility from day one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the planning and delivery of event services for assigned clients with support from the wider operations team
  • Ensure operational efficiency, safety, and quality of delivery on-site
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to support smooth, seamless execution
  • Provide on-site event support, addressing challenges in real-time and leading event staff during live delivery
  • Evaluate processes and suggest practical improvements for future delivery
  • Work closely with the recruitment team to coach and lead on-site team members
  • Contribute to documentation, planning, and reporting across key projects

Key Skills & Experience

  • Passion for the events industry and a readiness for its fast pace and occasional unsociable hours, especially during peak summer months
  • A recent graduate with a relevant degree (Event Management preferred but not essential), or up to 5 years’ experience in events or operations
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills, with a keen eye for problem-solving
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and stay calm under pressure
  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills
  • Confident decision-maker with a proactive, can-do attitude
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence and be able to commute to Crick, Northamptonshire
