Overview

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Event Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of corporate events across a portfolio of prestigious London venues. This is a client-facing role focused on managing inbound enquiries, driving revenue growth, and delivering high-quality, creatively led event experiences. The role combines event management, sales, and creative event design, with responsibility for developing compelling proposals, converting business opportunities, and ensuring exceptional delivery standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound event enquiries from initial brief through to execution
  • Develop creative, visually engaging proposals, costings, and event specifications
  • Act as the primary client contact throughout the full event lifecycle
  • Drive revenue growth by converting new business opportunities and maximising repeat bookings
  • Lead the design and concept development of corporate events, ensuring innovation and high standards
  • Oversee planning and delivery of events including charity dinners, corporate receptions, and seasonal and large-scale celebrations
  • Produce detailed technical specifications to support production and operations teams
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams including production, operations, and finance
  • Attend client meetings, site visits, and industry events to build and maintain relationships
  • Manage event budgets, reporting, and CRM updates accurately
  • Deliver events on-site, ensuring seamless execution, with the ability to hand over to operations when appropriate
  • Maintain strong relationships with venues, suppliers, and industry partners
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, particularly in event design and luxury experiences

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in event management, ideally within corporate or high-end events
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience in sales and client conversion
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong creative and design-led thinking, with attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
  • Experience working with production and technical teams
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Proactive, flexible, and solutions-focused approach
  • Comfortable working evenings and weekends as required
  • Experience delivering events within prestigious or unique venues
  • Background in creative event design, experiential, or production
  • Strong supplier and industry network
