Overview

We are seeking an experienced Event Manager to lead the delivery of bespoke, high‑end events for private and high net worth clients. These events are complex, highly personalised, and often span multiple days. This role combines creative event design, commercial awareness, and full lifecycle event delivery. You will be responsible for driving revenue through client relationships, producing compelling proposals, and ensuring exceptional execution on‑site. Acting as a brand ambassador, you will uphold the highest standards of service, discretion, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Event Delivery & Project Management
    • Manage high‑value, bespoke event projects from concept through to live delivery
    • Oversee complex, multi‑day event production (e.g. weddings, private celebrations, estate events)
    • Take full ownership of events across all phases (pre‑event, live delivery, and post‑event)
    • Be present on‑site, often working extended and flexible hours to ensure seamless execution
    • Coordinate closely with production, technical, and operations teams on builds, logistics, and delivery
  • Client Management & Commercial Growth
    • Act as a trusted point of contact for clients, maintaining professionalism and discretion
    • Build and nurture long‑term relationships with clients, venues, and industry partners
    • Identify and convert new business opportunities, supporting overall revenue growth
    • Encourage repeat and multiple bookings from existing clients
    • Represent the business at meetings, site visits, and industry events
  • Creative Design & Proposal Development
    • Develop creative, visually compelling responses to client briefs
    • Produce detailed, accurate proposals and pitch presentations
    • Champion event design as a key differentiator, staying ahead of industry trends
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure design concepts are deliverable to a high standard
  • Planning, Budgeting & Systems
    • Create detailed technical specifications for each event
    • Manage event budgets and ensure accurate financial reporting
    • Maintain and update CRM systems with sales and client data
    • Work to strict deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
  • Team Collaboration & Leadership
    • Work closely with sales, operations, and production teams to deliver outstanding events
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members where appropriate
    • Contribute to the ongoing development of the business, its services, and market position

Candidate Profile

  • Strong background in luxury, private, or high‑end events
  • Proven experience managing complex, multi‑day productions
  • Highly polished, discreet, and confident working with high net worth individuals
  • Commercially minded with a strong focus on delivery and results
  • Creative with a strong eye for design and detail
  • Resilient, flexible, and adaptable with working hours and travel requirements

  • Significant experience in event management (typically 5‑8+ years)
  • Strong project management and organisational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to manage multiple high‑pressure projects simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of event production and technical delivery
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines

  • Experience delivering luxury or high‑end private events
  • Knowledge of premium venues and supplier networks
  • Background in design, experiential events, or interiors
  • Familiarity with design and technical software (e.g. Adobe, SketchUp, AutoCAD)
