Working Pattern: Ideally 3 days per week for the first 12 months, increasing to full-time during the final show delivery period (approx. 2 weeks around the event)

I'm currently recruiting on behalf of the NEC for an exciting fixed-term opportunity supporting the delivery of the flagship Invictus Games 2027. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced event operations or project management professional to play a key role in the planning and delivery of one of the world's most inspiring international sporting events.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the end-to-end planning and operational delivery of catering and hospitality services for the Invictus Games
- Managing multiple stakeholders including clients, suppliers, internal departments, and delivery partners
- Coordinating complex project timelines and operational schedules
- Supporting client account management and maintaining strong working relationships
- Supplier coordination and operational liaison
- Managing event documentation, schedules, and communications
- Supporting on-site delivery during the Games period
We're Looking For
- Experience in event operations, event management, or large-scale project coordination
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- Excellent stakeholder and client account management experience
- Experience managing suppliers and delivery partners
- The ability to work calmly and effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and administrative skills
- Experience within catering or hospitality operations would be highly desirable, but is not essential.
