About The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Exhibition Project Manager to join a forwardâthinking and growing team delivering custom build exhibition stands and live event projects. You will take full ownership of projects from initial brief through to onâsite delivery, managing internal teams, external suppliers, and international partners. Strong experience delivering bespoke / custom build exhibition stands is essential for this role. The position offers a hybrid working model, combining officeâbased collaboration with flexibility, alongside regular travel for site visits and installations (typically around five days per month during busy periods).
Key Responsibilities
- Manage custom build exhibition projects from brief and design development through to installation and breakdown
- Plan, schedule, and deliver multiple live projects concurrently
- Coordinate designers, production teams, contractors, and logistics suppliers
- Manage budgets, cost control, variations, and overall project profitability
- Prepare detailed project plans, schedules, and client documentation
Client Relationship Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
- Deliver a consultative, solutionsâfocused service
- Build and maintain longâterm client relationships
- Confidently manage expectations around scope, budget, and timelines
- Brief and manage external contractors, fabricators, and suppliers
- Oversee installation teams and onâsite operations
- Work closely with internal teams and freelance specialists to ensure seamless delivery
Operational Excellence
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, compliantly, and to agreed quality standards
- Oversee logistics, shipping, and site operations in the UK and internationally
- Maintain clear and consistent communication across project systems and platforms
Qualifications
- Proven experience delivering custom build exhibition stands as a Project Manager
- Background in exhibitions, events, or live environments (contractor, agency, or supplier side)
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and margins
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Confident communicator with a proactive, solutionsâfocused mindset
- Handsâon, adaptable, and comfortable working in fastâpaced live environments
- Willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally internationally
