We are looking for a Tenancy Manager to join a growing property management team based in Reading town centre. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven, customer-focused professional to play a key role in delivering exceptional tenancy services and ensuring residents enjoy a smooth, high-quality experience throughout their tenancy.

About the Role

As a Tenancy Manager, you will oversee all stages of the tenancy lifecycle, from move-ins and renewals to move-outs, ensuring processes are handled efficiently, compliantly, and with great attention to detail. You will communicate clearly and empathetically with tenants, manage documentation and legal notices, and collaborate closely with colleagues across departments to maintain high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all tenancy processes including move-ins, renewals, and terminations.
  • Handle tenant queries and complaints professionally, providing timely, effective resolutions.
  • Ensure all tenancy documentation and records comply with current legislation.
  • Conduct and follow up on property inspections.
  • Liaise with internal teams such as Maintenance, Lettings, and Customer Service for smooth operations.
  • Contribute to data accuracy, reporting, and continuous service improvement initiatives.

About You

  • Experience in residential tenancy management or property administration.
  • Strong understanding of UK tenancy legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills with a proactive, detail-oriented approach.
  • Confident decision-maker able to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Committed to providing an outstanding customer experience.
  • ARLA qualification (or willingness to work towards one) desirable.
