A growing facilities company in Victoria is looking for a highly organised and proactive Business Support Advisor to join their operations team. In this varied and integral role, you’ll support both internal teams and external stakeholders, helping to ensure seamless day-to-day operations. From managing service desk tasks and maintaining office systems to handling procurement, reporting, and general administration, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being at the centre of business activity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day business operations across multiple departments
- Act as the first point of contact for internal and external queries
- Maintain and update company systems including SharePoint and service desk platforms
- Manage procurement tasks including product sourcing, uniform orders, and supplier communications
- Process certificates, permits, mobile device configuration, and purchase orders
- Oversee administrative support such as post handling, stationery, meeting preparation, and document management
- Assist with data entry, reports, audits, and scheduling of work programmes
- Coordinate vehicle fleet services including MOTs, congestion charges, and maintenance
- Support operational teams with system usage and general business processes
Skills and Experience Required:
- Proven experience in a business support, administrative, or operations support role
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills with confidence interacting at all levels
- Comfortable working with databases and customer service platforms
