Maintenance Operative - Temporary (6 weeks) - Oxford We’re looking for a proactive and hands-on Maintenance Operative to help keep our student accommodation safe, well maintained, and welcoming.
You’ll handle reactive repairs, planned maintenance, painting and decorating, and support the smooth day-to-day running of the building.
Key
Responsibilities: Carry out reactive repairs and planned preventative maintenance (PPMs).
Complete painting, decorating, and general upkeep tasks.
Maintain shared spaces and apartments to a high standard.
Conduct health safety compliance checks including fire alarms, emergency lighting, and legionella testing.
Keep accurate maintenance and safety records.
Support inspections, events, and wider site activities.
Provide a friendly and professional service to residents, keeping them informed on maintenance updates.
Skills
Experience: Experience in building maintenance, facilities, or a similar role.
