Based in our London office in Hammersmith, the EMEA Transfer Pricing team is looking for a Manager to join the team to help support our EMEA businesses with their transfer pricing obligations. You will report to a Senior Manager Transfer Pricing, collaborating with the broader EMEA Transfer Pricing team and the US Transfer Pricing team as well as with the broader tax, external reporting, finance and legal teams in the UK and across EMEA. The role will encompass transfer pricing compliance, audit support, review of operational transfer pricing calculations as well as support with ad hoc transfer pricing projects.

This role is a hybrid position, working 4 days a week in our Hammersmith office.

What You Will Do
  • Transfer Pricing Monitoring and Compliance: Responsible for overseeing the EMEA transfer pricing documentation compliance process, working closely with our Big 4 provider to manage all aspects of the outsourced engagement process. Reviewing transfer pricing documentation reports including benchmarking analysis for the EMEA region. Leading and documenting functional analysis interviews with the business. Responsible for reviewing EMEA operational transfer pricing calculations to confirm they reflect the relevant TP policies. Collaborating with the US transfer pricing team and broader tax team to provide EMEA input to various global processes, for example review of Global Master File, CBCR table 2 etc. Collaborating with the legal team to ensure that any new inter-company legal agreements are implemented effectively.
  • Business Partnering: Developing and maintaining relationships with EMEA controllers and other key business partners as part of the ongoing monitoring of the appropriateness of the EMEA transfer pricing policies. Dealing with ad hoc transfer pricing queries raised by local business teams.
  • Transfer Pricing Advisory: Providing support to the International Transfer Pricing Principal and Transfer Pricing Senior Managers in respect of tax authority engagement across the EMEA region, including tax audits, APA processes and MAPs. Specifically supporting with gathering data and drafting responses for information requests. Providing support with ad hoc projects and transfer pricing analysis required to inform transfer pricing strategy, for example in respect of business changes, working as appropriate with the tax business partner groups. Contributing to the ongoing transformation efforts of the international transfer pricing function of the future (including working on automation and other transformation efforts etc). Experience of Alteryx would be helpful. Monitor proposed and newly enacted transfer pricing legislation, regulations and case law that could impact the Transfer Pricing policy or operations.
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Qualified ACA/CTA or similar qualification
  • Experience in transfer pricing either in-house or in practice
  • Experience in both transfer pricing documentation as well as advisory
  • Ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships
  • Excellent communication skills, both written business English and oral including the ability to work across different cultures
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
