The Disney+ team is responsible for the roll out and ongoing performance and operations of Disney+ across EMEA, specifically focused on programming strategy, marketing, customer acquisition and retention, partnerships, research and analytics. This important role is a key part of Disney+, responsible for driving product road maps for Disney+ for our customer base across EMEA. Focused primarily on growth & Identity, payments, legal & privacy compliance projects. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Product & Engagement, based in London, whilst working closely with US counterparts and local market teams, as well as regionally based forecasting and insights teams. This role will be based in our London Hammersmith office, 4 days a week, with either Monday or Friday working from home.

What You Will Do

  • New Payments: Own the payments and commerce strategy across EMEA, ensuring the optimal mix of local payment methods in each market. Partner with global, regional, and local stakeholders to shape the payments roadmap. Use data and insights to inform strategy, prioritise initiatives, and influence decision‑making.
  • Churn & Payment Performance: Monitor market performance, analyse key KPIs, and identify opportunities to improve payment success rates and customer outcomes. Closely collaborate with the global team to optimise and drive the experimentation roadmap to reduce preventable customer churn related to billing and payment issues. Scope and define initiatives that reduce failed payments and improve the overall billing experience.
  • Identity & Compliance: Partner with global and regional teams to plan and deliver product features for Disney+ across EMEA. Collaborate with legal, compliance, and privacy teams to ensure product features meet all local market requirements. Lead complex product initiatives, setting priorities and aligning multiple stakeholder groups. Work cross‑functionally to deliver product updates, ensuring successful launches with appropriate local market adaptations. Partner with analytics teams to interpret test results and translate insights into actionable recommendations for business stakeholders. Leverage data and customer insights to understand behaviour and identify opportunities to optimise product features and performance. Coordinate with local market teams to support QA and ensure product features meet quality standards prior to launch.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Successful track record in product and/or working within a global matrix for product prioritisation.
  • Experience in product environment.
  • Desired: Experience within a subscription business and proven ability to deliver improvements to KPIs.
  • Results‑focused with extensive experience in test and learn at a customer level.
  • Thrives through working in cross‑functional / multi‑territory teams, ideally experience in an international matrix organisation.
  • A deep understanding and interest in latest technology and digital businesses, awareness of the unique challenges of a consumer subscription business essential.
  • Understanding of market nuances and dynamics to deliver a global strategy while also balancing local adaptations to drive local results.
