As a Trade Manager at The Disney Store, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our e-commerce business across multiple markets. Working closely with the trading team, the planning team, and the Senior Trade Manager, you will be at the heart of planning and trading our websites to maximise sales and margin, ensuring we meet and exceed all targets.
Your expertise will drive the development and execution of key performance indicator (KPI) plans for all our e-commerce channels, underpinned by insightful analysis of past performance and a keen understanding of product strategy. With a collaborative spirit, you will contribute to the creation of our quarterly 'playbook' aligned with the critical path, bringing creativity and commercial acumen to every challenge.

What we are looking for:
- Collaborate with the Senior Trade Manager and key stakeholders to shape and deliver the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for the e-commerce business, ensuring all voices are heard and valued throughout the process.
- Partner with the planning team and Senior Trade Manager to gain a deep understanding of product strategy, co-creating inclusive KPI plans across all e-commerce channels.
- Use insights from past performance to inform and adapt plans that drive KPIs, supporting sales and margin targets across all sites whilst championing diverse perspectives.
- Work alongside the Senior Trade Manager to co-develop the quarterly 'playbook' aligned with the critical path, fostering creativity and teamwork at every stage.
- Bring innovation to the planning and execution of in-season online promotional activity, optimising sales, margin and KPIs, and ensuring promotional mechanics and onsite experiences are accessible and engaging for everyone.
- Provide valuable data insights on franchise, category and markets, supporting collaborative product and KPI planning that reflects the needs of all communities.
- Engage with the digital marketing teams to co-create trade plans, responding to in-season shifts and commercial promotions that meet sales, margin and traffic targets, whilst driving inclusion and accessibility.
- Work closely with the Site Merchandiser to ensure weekly product launches deliver the desired sales outcomes, welcoming feedback and input from all team members.
- Collaborate with the planning team to adapt stock distribution, maximising sales and margin, and considering the diverse needs of our customer base.
- Take ownership of e-commerce forecasts, sharing information with marketing, guest services and distribution centre teams to promote transparency and enable agile planning.
- Develop personalisation sales plans by market, type and channel, partnering with the distribution centre to ensure targets are mutually agreed and resources are allocated fairly.
- Support and empower the Trade Merchandising Assistant, ensuring business plans, priorities and events are clearly communicated, and that everyone feels included and valued.
- Build strong relationships with all stakeholders to identify and deliver e-commerce opportunities, fostering a culture of collaboration and shared success.
- Champion e-commerce delivery and customer experience strategies for each market, working with EDC, guest services and production teams to ensure every customer's journey is magical and welcoming.
- Lead and support other ad hoc projects as needed, embracing new challenges with curiosity and an inclusive mindset.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Demonstrated e-commerce merchandising expertise, with essential retail experience, enabling innovative product strategies that delight our diverse guest base.
- Proven ability to collaborate across departments, fostering teamwork to achieve shared goals and deliver exceptional results.
- Experienced in leading and developing teams, inspiring colleagues to reach their potential in an inclusive and supportive environment.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office and Excel, using these tools to streamline processes and empower effective decision-making.
