We’re opening the doors to our brand new Dishoom Café in Borough, London, in October 2026, and we’re on the lookout for warm, big‑hearted hospitality pros to join our team. If you love great food, proper hospitality, and the buzz of being part of an opening, this is your moment. We'll be meeting with potential new Dishoom‑walas over the summer, building an exceptional team, ready to bring a piece of Dishoom to Borough, London this Autumn.

For those looking to join us earlier, there may be an opportunity to work in a current London Dishoom and then transfer across to Dishoom Borough when it’s ready to open and the on‑site training begins.

What to Expect

• Free team meals every shift, plus all the Chai you can drink.
• £16–£17 per hour inclusive of tronc (based on the last 3‑month’s average). Monthly pay.
• Full‑time role working across 5 days, Monday – Sunday availability required.
• A weekly changing rota provided at least 6 days in advance.
• All‑day dining Café – a variety of daytime and evening shifts.
• Access to our award‑winning training programmes and support.
• Paid holidays at your usual rate. Sites closed Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Additional day for children on first day of school.
• No uniforms; smart casual and comfortable clothing required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests day or night with a welcoming smile.
• Transport guests to the Irani cafés of Bombay, understand their wants and needs, and find ways to exceed expectations.
• Maintain clear communication with guests and team, ensuring special requirements are taken care of.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a host in a high‑volume restaurant or bar environment, following detailed steps of service and using guest management systems.
• Desire to grow; promotions typically from within.
