Dishoom Caf is opening a new location in Leeds in August 2026. We are looking for friendly, attentive and organised people to join us as a Host.

What to Expect

  • Full‑time role, 5 days a week, Monday‑Sunday availability required.
  • Paid hourly rate of £14‑£15 (inclusive of tronc) with monthly payment.
  • Weekly rota provided at least 6 days in advance.
  • Variety of daytime and evening shifts – not always late nights.
  • Free team meals and unlimited chai.
  • Access to award‑winning training programmes and development support.
  • Paid holiday at usual rate; sites closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
  • No uniform – smart casual and comfortable; trainers acceptable.

Host Responsibilities

  • Greet guests day or night with a warm smile that makes them feel instantly welcomed.
  • Transport guests to the Permit Rooms of Bombay, and share knowledge of our drinks, bar snacks, curries, sharing plates and Dishoom dishes.
  • Ensure clear communication of guest requirements to the team and provide prompt, accurate service.

Qualifications & Experience

  • At least 1 year of Host experience in a high‑volume restaurant or bar environment.
  • Experience using guest‑management systems and following detailed service steps.
  • Desire to grow – promotion to Head or Deputy Host is available from within.
