- Providing financial leadership for our Ecommerce business (£2m revenue), including reviewing new product launches, supporting pricing decisions, and ensuring costs and performance are well tracked.
- Taking ownership of Dishoom's weekly reporting pack - our much-loved Jantri - and working hand in hand with the Data team to build thoughtful, reliable Delivery and Ecommerce insights.
- Working alongside Operations teams to ensure weekly Jantri submissions land on time, reviewing commentary to spot trends and variances, and helping shape actions for improvement.
- Supporting the Cost Controller with Food and Drink Cost of Sales reporting and budgeting across all channels, including inflation and mix analysis.
- Contributing to month-end processes, including P&L reviews, variance analysis and clear, useful commentary.
- Providing ad-hoc commercial analysis and reporting to support decision-making across the wider business.
- Optimising Marketing and People Team budgets through rigorous investment and spend analysis.
About you:
- You’re someone who enjoys making sense of numbers but even more than that, you enjoy understanding the story behind them. You’re curious, thoughtful and comfortable working with people from all parts of the business.
- A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), alongside strong analytical and numeracy skills.
- A proven track record of partnering with business functions and tailoring communication styles to suit diverse audiences at all levels of the organisation.
- Confident Excel skills, with the ability to handle complex data while keeping a close eye on the detail.
- Experience working in a medium or large finance function (in-house or outsourced), with a solid grasp of core finance processes.
