A stunning location offering modern British dining with a salary of £37,000 plus overtime. The role includes:
- Menu autonomy alongside the head chef and group executive chef
- A stunning modern kitchen to hone your craft in alongside a talented team of chefs
- A 4-day working week with 3 days off together
- 40-hour working week

We are looking for a sous chef to join the team providing a classically British menu with modern twists, with everything made in-house. This position can significantly enhance your CV.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in a similar background, working with fresh food in a hotel, restaurant, or gastro pub environment
- Experience working within a medium-sized team and the ability to enthuse and engage junior chefs
- Experience running the kitchen in the head chef's absence
- A keen eye for seasonal produce and experience in menu planning, stock control, and kitchen management
- Means of transport due to the semi-rural location, although the inn is commutable from Chesterfield, Mansfield, and Bakewell
