Dish Hospitality is recruiting experienced temporary chefs across Manchester and the North-West, with opportunities in quality hotels, restaurants, gastro pubs and event catering venues.
Whether you want a few shifts to fit around your lifestyle, regular weekly work or a longer-term contract, we have opportunities to suit. Assignments range from a single day to three months, with longer-term contracts also available nationwide.
What's on offer?

Up to £22 per hour, depending on experience and assignment.

Straight shifts and a minimum of 8 hours per shift.

Flexible work to suit your availability.

Short-term assignments and longer-term contracts.

Live-in opportunities available on selected assignments.

Work in a variety of kitchens, from quality gastro pubs and restaurants to hotels and large-scale events.

Payment through PAYE or umbrella, with limited company freelancers and sole traders welcome.
Who are we looking for?
We're particularly interested in experienced chefs operating at Sous Chef level or above who can step into a kitchen, hit the ground running and deliver consistently high standards.
You'll ideally have:

A solid, consistent CV demonstrating reliability and commitment.

Experience covering Head Chefs and senior kitchen staff on their days off.

The ability to lead, support and motivate junior chefs.

A strong work ethic and a professional, hands-on approach.

Experience across different kitchen environments.

Your own transport to travel to assignments.
We're looking for chefs who take pride in their work, bring a positive attitude and understand the importance of being dependable. Strong leadership matters, but so does being approachable and working well with a team.
