Dish Hospitality are a Yorkshire based recruitment agency, and are currently looking to recruit a temporary Pizza chef for one of our clients, who operate an independent Gastro Pub East of York, in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside, and run an outdoor Pizza kitchen in the gardens.
The restaurant within the pub, and the Fresh Pizza kitchen are known for their authentic flavors and commitment to quality.
We\’re seeking a skilled and passionate Temporary Temporary Pizza Chef to join our temporary team and assist the kitchen team during their peak season and special events, with work through to September
Job Overview
As a Temporary Temporary Pizza Chef, you\’ll play a crucial role in creating mouthwatering pizzas from a fresh base, and will have experience making and working with fresh Pizza dough and experience working with a dedicated wood fired Pizza oven
This position is ideal for experienced pizza chef looking for short-term opportunities to showcase their skills and contribute to a fast-paced, high-quality kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to restaurant recipes and standards

Master the art of pizza dough preparation, including mixing, kneading, and proofing

Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all pizzas

Maintain a clean and organized workstation

Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods

Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations

Assist with inventory management and stock rotation

Contribute creative ideas for new pizza recipes and seasonal specials

Train and mentor junior kitchen staff as needed

Qualifications
Required:

Proven experience as a Pizza Chef in an Italian restaurant setting
