We are looking to recruit an experienced Sous chef for this stunning country Inn, offering rosette standard dining, giving a creative & experienced sous chef the opportunity to really put their mark on this stunning venue.

Our clients who operate this stunning country inn, with a big ethos on food quality, sustainability & local produce are looking to add a Sous chef to the talented team due to increasing sales, with a fantastic support structure in place, this really is the ideal environment for a career minded chef to flourish.

The Ideal Sous chef will be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience working in a Fresh food led kitchen environment, be it in a restaurant, hotel or even Gastro pub.
  • Experience leading a kitchen team through service at pace and to volume - this is a busy kitchen.
  • Excellent Kitchen management experience & due diligence compliance, from H&S to haccp, wastage control, labour costs & menu costing.
  • Spot on knowledge of seasonal produce, and utilising ingredients in a creative way for the award winning menu.
  • The skills, knowledge & desire to enthuse junior chefs to push themselves for perfection every day.
  • A keen eye for detail, and a passion for your craft.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced fresh food led kitchen.
  • Experience running service to high standards, and being always in tune with your team.
  • Spot on knowledge of stock control, costings and menu planning.
  • Understanding of the latest allergen, H&S & haccp procedures and regulations.
