Dish hospitality are delighted to be working on this superb Sous Chef opportunity for our market-leading client who operates this lovely country inn in a beautiful village situated close to Baslow in the stunning Derbyshire countryside.

We require a Sous Chef to join the team providing a classically British menu with a few modern twists, with everything made in-house. This really is a position that can put a real quality mark on your CV.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • From a similar background, working with fresh food, be it in a hotel, restaurant, or gastro pub environment.
  • Have experience working within a medium-sized team and have the skills to enthuse & engage junior chefs.
  • Experienced in running the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence.
  • Have a keen eye for seasonal produce & experience in menu planning, stock control & kitchen management.
  • Have means of transport due to the semi-rural location, although the Inn is commutable from Chesterfield, Mansfield & Bakewell.
