We require a Sous Chef to join the team providing a classically British menu with a few modern twists, with everything made in-house. This really is a position that can put a real quality mark on your CV. The ideal candidate will be: From a similar background, working with fresh food, be it in a hotel, restaurant, or gastro pub environment. Have experience working within a medium-sized team and have the skills to enthuse & engage junior chefs. Experienced in running the kitchen in the Head Chef\’s absence. Have a keen eye for seasonal produce & experience in menu planning, stock control & kitchen management. Have means of transport due to the semi-rural location, although the Inn is commutable from Chesterfield, Mansfield & Bakewell.
