Daytime Cafe & Restaurant in Ilkley is seeking an innovative, creative, and passionate Head Chef to oversee a team of talented chefs in a well-looked-after kitchen. The role offers the opportunity to build on an already superb reputation locally, with daytimes only, including weekends.

As Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating exciting new menus regularly, based on seasonal & local produce.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a head chef, showing drive and creative flair
  • Experience in menu development & costings
  • A good understanding of P&L accounts, stocks, compliance, and KPIs
  • Self-driven and proven leadership skills
  • Experience in developing and training staff
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional, outgoing personality
  • Understanding of the latest H&S guidelines and procedures
  • Experience working in a similarly sized venue
  • Ability to self-manage and adapt to changing situations
