A busy and well-respected casual fine dining restaurant in Leeds city centre is looking for a talented Part-Time Pastry Chef to join the kitchen team. The restaurant focuses on modern British cuisine with a strong reputation for beautifully presented desserts, seasonal pastry work and popular afternoon tea service. This is a fantastic opportunity for a pastry chef who enjoys working in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment and takes pride in consistency, creativity and presentation.
The successful candidate will have previous experience running or supporting a pastry section within a quality restaurant or hotel kitchen and be confident managing prep, service and organisation within a busy operation.
The Role:
- Managing the pastry section during prep and service
- Producing high-quality desserts, pastries and afternoon tea items
- Maintaining consistency and presentation standards
- Supporting menu development and seasonal changes
- Working closely with the wider kitchen team in a fast-paced environment
- Maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards
What We're Looking For:
- Previous pastry experience within a quality restaurant or hotel
- Experience running a pastry section
