Responsible for the vision, strategy and stewardship of our products, the Product team is key to the success of Disguise. As Product Manager you will be passionate about live entertainment and immersive experiences, and harness that energy to continuously drive innovation to move our products and platform forward. We strive to ensure our customers and users are able to deliver jaw-dropping experiences each and every time they work with Disguise.

You will be at the heart of Disguise’s product evolution, driving a strong product culture centered around the importance of continuous and rapid testing and learning; understanding that we need to make mistakes in order to learn, but that we need to make them quickly and mitigate the risks. You appreciate that great products are the result of true collaboration, with cross-functional working at the heart of what you do.

What you will do:

  • Deeply understand our users, how they work with Disguise products, the challenges they face, and the outcomes they are striving for.
  • Combine the above with knowledge of Disguise’s business priorities and strategic direction, continually assess our product strengths, weaknesses, product market fit and define areas of opportunity.
  • Work closely with Engineering and Design to steer the product development through defining, testing and iterating on new ideas.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on go-to-market strategy, equipping the Marketing team with the knowledge, context, and understanding so they can deliver compelling campaigns and product marketing.
  • Ensure that other business areas such as Customer Success, Sales and Operations are set up for success for all things product-related.
  • Evangelise Disguise products both internally and externally with product briefings, roadmap updates and get involved in pre-sales discussions which relate to product developments.
  • Harness existing telemetry and data to inform and support decisions, and work with our data engineers to improve our data capabilities.
  • Drive product thinking and champion a product-led culture centred around a focused strategy, outcomes and value.

Experience we are looking for:

  • Either: Experience within Product Management with a complex hardware and software product, in the live events, broadcast or an adjacent sector for 5+ years.
  • Or: 4+ years experience as a user or customer of Disguise with an interest in Product with evidence of the skills below and willingness to learn on the job.

Skills, behaviours and values we are looking for:

  • Technical fluency in media related technologies: enough to have credible conversations with engineers, customers and users.
  • Experience working with technical and/or creative teams defining, testing and iterating on new ideas.
  • Customer and user focused, heavily insight-driven combined with experience exercising judgement to make the right product led decisions/recommendations.
  • Embraces ambiguity; ingenious with methods to seek information and able to make recommendations with incomplete data.
  • Curious to get to the bottom of problems; proactive and passionate in seeking what might not immediately be apparent.
  • Coherent storytelling abilities - crafting and delivering presentations is a regular demand of the job; understanding how to adjust content across different mediums to the audience (internal and external stakeholders).
  • Attention to detail, and knowing when this matters most.
  • Team player who can collaborate with a wide variety of roles and personas, including Disguise operators, Disguise customers and c-team members, while also a reliable, autonomous individual contributor.
  • Dynamic: able to pivot quickly with an abundance of energy and resilience.
  • No Ego: approachable, authentic and humble.
