About the role Night Worker duties include: - Carrying out tasks including housekeeping, laundry, cleaning - Regular checks on the people we support through the night -Getting this ready for the morning -Assisting with the efficient running of the service At Eldermere, youll be part of a close-knit, friendly team supporting six wonderful adults in their 60s to 80s. This is a warm, homely setting set within beautiful private grounds near St Peters Hospitaljust a short, pleasant walk from town. Each person youll support has their own unique personality, preferences and routines. Your role is to help them live life in a way that feels meaningful to them. This might include attending weekly music sessions, enjoying crafts like knitting, supporting visits to church on Sundays, or getting out and about for swimming or hydro (youll need to feel confident getting into the pool), lunches out, walks, bowling or trips to the cinema. Youll also help people stay connected with their families and friends, which is something very important to everyone at Eldermere. Some aspects of the role involve practical and personal care, ensuring hygiene routines are followed, and that the people we support are safe when using wheelchairs and hoists. You'll promote healthy eating, support with day-to-day house old chores, update support plans and assistant with medication when required. Shifts:

You'll need to work flexibly between 7am and 10pm, plus 1 sleep-in per week, and work alternate weekends.

Driver licence : Full UK manual Drivers licence is essential. If youre someone who genuinely cares about improving peoples lives, this role will bring real meaning and reward. About you You dont need previous experience to become a great Support Worker
