About the role Discovery is looking for caring Waking Night Support Workers in Taunton to support people throughout the night, ensuring the appropriate support is given in line the risk assessment and support plan whist also carrying out a number of key allocated tasks.
Every night, you'll help create a safe, calm, and comforting environment for the people we support.
Your role will include: Carrying out regular keeping safe checks to ensure everyone feels secure and comfortable.
Maintaining a clean, hygienic space so that the environment is welcoming and safe.
Recording important information using our easy-to-use IT systems - from support plans to health and safety logs - so we can provide the best care possible.
Creating a therapeutic, reassuring atmosphere that promotes wellbeing throughout the night.
Supporting people to enjoy their late evenings or nights in ways that matter to them.
Providing personal care when needed, always with dignity and respect.
