As a Floating Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in supporting our homes across Minehead, Williton and the surrounding areas, stepping in where you're needed most and helping teams thrive. You might support a service through a staffing gap, help stabilise a team, or assist during a period of change. Every placement has purpose and your impact is immediate.

What you'll be doing

You'll support adults with learning disabilities to live fulfilling and independent lives by:

• Building positive, trusting relationships.
• Supporting daily routines, including personal care, meals and finances.
• Encouraging independence, confidence and choice.
• Supporting people in the home and out in their community.
• Working as part of different teams to deliver safe, consistent, high-quality care.

What we're looking for

• Adaptable - comfortable working in different environments.
• Reliable and flexible - able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends.
• Competent and willing to learn - full training provided.
• Experienced or values-driven - care experience is helpful, but not essential.
• Committed to high standards - compliant, professional and person-centred.

You’ll also need to:

• Commute to the home you are working in (up to 1 hour from your home address).
• Use your own car for work and have (or be willing to obtain) business insurance.
