Role Purpose

Discovery ADR Group is seeking an experienced, commercially focused marketing leader to take full ownership of our marketing function and build a predictable, scalable engine that generates high-quality Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) across our core service lines. This is a strategic and operational leadership role for a self-directed professional who can design, implement, and continuously optimise marketing activity without requiring tactical direction. The successful candidate will bring proven expertise in professional services marketing and will be accountable for delivering measurable pipeline growth.

This individual will define the strategy, implement the systems, manage the tools, execute campaigns, and establish marketing as a primary growth driver for Discovery's UK and USA expansion.

Primary Objective

To build and own a high-performing marketing function that delivers a consistent and growing volume of high-quality Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) aligned to Discovery's target markets, service lines, and commercial objectives.

Success in this role will be measured by:

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Ownership

  • Define and own Discovery's marketing strategy aligned to business growth objectives
  • Develop and implement a structured MQL generation engine across multiple channels
  • Identify and prioritise target segments, industries, personas, and geographic markets
  • Establish clear positioning, messaging, and value propositions across service lines
  • Align marketing activity directly to commercial outcomes and pipeline generation

Campaign Strategy and Execution

  • Design, implement, and optimise multi-channel campaigns including:
    • LinkedIn organic and paid campaigns
    • Email outreach and nurture campaigns
    • Social selling programmes
    • Lead magnets and conversion assets
    • Content-driven campaigns
    • Account-based marketing initiatives
    • Website and landing page optimisation
    • CRM-driven marketing automation
  • Build repeatable campaign frameworks that can scale across the UK and USA.

Lead Generation and Pipeline Development

  • Own responsibility for delivering a steady flow of qualified MQLs
  • Design and manage marketing funnels from awareness to qualification
  • Optimise conversion rates at each stage of the funnel
  • Implement lead scoring and qualification frameworks
  • Ensure seamless integration between marketing and sales

Social Selling and Outreach Infrastructure

  • Design and manage scalable outbound marketing systems using tools such as:

  • Build structured outbound marketing systems that generate consistent engagement and meetings.

Marketing Systems and Infrastructure

  • Define and implement the marketing technology stack

Content and Authority Building

  • Define and oversee creation of:

USA Market Expansion Support

  • Support Discovery's expansion into the USA by:

  • Experience supporting international business development teams across multiple regions
  • Experience generating leads across global markets, particularly the UK, Europe, and North America

  • Experience scaling marketing functions in growth-stage businesses
  • Experience building marketing infrastructure from the ground up
  • Experience in recruitment, leadership development, management consultancy, or sales transformation environments
