Terriva Limited is looking for a dynamic, ambitious and hands-on Managing Director to lead an established, internationally successful engineering business through its next exciting chapter.

Specialising in the design and manufacture of sophisticated powder processing equipment, primarily for the pharmaceutical industry, Terriva has an established global presence, with equipment operating in over 50 countries worldwide.

With a strong reputation, the backing of a wider group and significant investment opportunities, this is a fantastic opportunity for an entrepreneurial leader to make a real impact.

We're looking for someone who can think strategically, identify commercial opportunities and deliver results, but who is equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves and getting involved in the day-to-day business.

The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Board, you will take full responsibility for the strategic direction, commercial success and operational performance of Terriva.

Your challenge? Build on the company's established reputation, strengthen its commercial position and take the business to the next level.

You will:

• Drive commercial success – Identify and develop new markets, customers, partnerships and opportunities in the UK and internationally.

• Own the numbers – Take full P&L responsibility, delivering revenue, profitability, cash flow and sustainable financial performance.

• Lead from the front – Inspire, develop and motivate your team, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration and achievement.

• Be hands-on – Stay close to customers, products, people and operations. This is a leadership role where your involvement will make a tangible difference.

• Set the direction – Develop and implement a clear business strategy, supported by the resources and expertise of the wider group.

• Champion excellence – Maintain the highest standards of quality, customer service, operational efficiency and compliance.

What Will You Bring?

We're looking for a commercially astute, energetic and results-driven leader who combines strategic vision with a practical, hands-on approach.

Ideally, you will have:

• A proven track record in senior leadership, whether as a Managing Director, CEO, COO or another senior commercial or operational leader.

• Experience of full P&L accountability and a demonstrable record of improving business performance.

• A strong background in engineering, manufacturing or technically complex products and solutions.

• The commercial flair to identify opportunities, win business and develop new markets.

• The confidence and ability to lead, inspire and develop high-performing teams.

• Strong financial acumen, sound judgement and excellent stakeholder management skills.

• The ambition, resilience and enthusiasm to take on a challenging and rewarding leadership position.

Experience in pharmaceutical equipment or regulated manufacturing would be advantageous, but is not essential. We are equally interested in talented leaders from other specialist engineering and manufacturing sectors.
