Location: Taunton

Duration: 6 months maternity cover

Salary: £14.44 per hour

We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Lead Support Worker to join our team, providing full support to 4 males in Taunton.

Role Responsibilities

  • Being a role model to colleagues, demonstrating organisational values, and following support plans, policies, and procedures in daily practice.
  • Modeling organisational and home processes. Inducting new colleagues.
  • Completing delegated tasks efficiently and managing your time effectively.
  • Advocating for the people we support and promoting their independence through innovative approaches.
  • Mentoring colleagues, assessing their competencies, and providing coaching where needed.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for working with individuals requiring full support.
  • The ability to work well both as part of a team and independently.
