Are you a Support Worker with experience of working with adults living with autism and / or learning disabilities? Are you looking to take the next step in your career? Discovery are currently recruiting for a Lead Support Worker to join our team at Apple Tree Court in Street.
About the role:
We are seeking a new Lead Support Worker, experienced in supporting adults with learning disabilities and passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of people with disabilities. This is a fabulous opportunity for a person who wants to progress their career within Social Care. You will join a team of both experienced colleagues, and also relatively new team members, supporting people with learning disabilities to live their lives independently. We are looking for people who will assist in creating happy, vibrant, and busy homes. The people we support want to learn new skills and try new activities with Support Workers who are passionate about supporting them. They also want caring people to support them with personal care, cooking, shopping and keeping their homes spotless.
