Are you bored with your current job and looking for a new challenge? Discovery is looking for Community Connectors to join our fantastic Outreach team to work across Street and Yeovil.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with people to help them learn something new or take a further step towards independence.
  • Provide support and guidance throughout the community outreach activities.
  • Work across Somerset, including driving where necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records using the provided phone and tablet.
  • Collaborate with Locality and Assistant Locality Managers and attend regular team meetings.

Qualifications

  • Adequate literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure (to be obtained by Discovery).
