As a Waking Night Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in making every night safe, comfortable, and meaningful for the people we support. You will work 3 nights per week across two nearby homes in Taunton, both located within an approximate 2-mile radius of each other. One home supports five gentleman, while the other supports three men and one women, all with a range of disabilities and support needs. Each night, you'll play a vital part in creating a safe, calm and comforting environment where people feel secure, respected and well-supported. Maintaining a clean, hygienic and welcoming environment throughout the night Accurately recording important information using our easy-to-use IT systems, including support notes and health and safety checks Creating a reassuring, therapeutic atmosphere that promotes wellbeing Supporting people with their evening or night-time routines in ways that matter to them Providing personal care, when required, always with dignity, compassion and respect This role is ideal for someone who understands that even quiet moments of support can make a meaningful difference.
