As Food & Beverage Supervisor, you are the welcoming heartbeat of Taymouth Castle. Calm, present and hands-on, you ensure every service feels effortless, elegant and genuinely personal. You set the pace on the floor, coach your team in the moment and lead by example, always doing the right thing even when no one is watching. People are our priority, and you demonstrate this through thoughtful leadership, intuitive service and genuine care for both guests and colleagues. You uphold the details that define a luxury experience: sparkling glassware, beautifully set tables, intuitive timing and warm, human connection, while creating an environment where standards are high and morale is strong.

Work closely and proactively, communicating with team members across the wide range of facilities. You do this with grace, confidence and a meticulous eye for detail, playing a key role in creating a positive, energised team culture where enjoyment and excellence naturally sit side by side.

  • Lead pre-service preparation alongside Head Chefs, including table plans, polishing, station set-up and menu briefings.
  • Offer a warm, personalised welcome to guests, supporting seating, service flow and discreet table management throughout service.
  • Maintain immaculate presentation across all guest areas, from swept entrances and lit fireplaces to pristine flowers and inviting lounges, respecting the Castle and its surroundings.
  • Support breakfast, lunch and dinner service with a clear understanding of pacing, menu changes and pairing recommendations.
  • Be present, observant and proactive, anticipating needs and resolving issues with warmth, discretion and professionalism.
  • Speak confidently about dishes, ingredients, provenance and preparation.
  • Create small but memorable moments for members and guests such as pre-dinner cocktails, special individual touches which are unique to every member.
  • Monitor pace, quality and presentation, stepping in early to keep service smooth and on standard.

You uphold our exceptional culinary standards while demonstrating passion and flare in the pursuit of service excellence. We respect people, places, and culture and as an Ambassador of Taymouth Castle – spokesperson, advocate, and supporter. Be actively involved in day-to-day operations through observance and collaborating proactively with all team members across our wide range of facilities. You are actively involved in department meetings and attend wider business meetings where necessary.

Based within the castle or at various locations throughout the estate. People are our priority, and you support the management team in the successful running of the operations across the estate. Although much of your time will be spent indoors, some events may be hosted outdoors. This role can involve prolonged periods of standing, walking, and bending.

Full UK driving license preferred – You may be required to travel between locations. This role does not qualify for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa requirements and eligibility criteria.
