In your role as Laundry Assistant, your primary task is to support the residential services department with the smooth running of our incredible laundry facilities, ensuring our exceptional standards are upheld. The Residential Services Department is spread across the whole estate, working and collaborating with team members throughout the various areas of the club. We believe in having fun and creating memorable moments for our members and visiting guests at their 'home from home', making sure each visit is unique.
You assist with preparing the department's machinery, equipment, cleaning products, supplies and linen, including washing, pressing and caring for guest laundry to the highest standards, ensuring everything is organised and ready for use. People are our priority, so you maintain team member uniforms with the same high standard of care and attention to detail as guest spaces, always working with warmth and consideration.

- Support our laundry service to consistently be the highest possible standard for guests and team members.
- Operate and monitor washing, dry-cleaning, drying machines and pressing machines in line with procedures, including dosing, cleaning lint traps, and setting dryers to the correct times and temperatures based on the fabrics being processed.
- Expertly press laundry of every description with skill and expertise.
- Inspect all laundry items for stains or damage, and determine whether to repair, treat, rewash or discard, and ensure items are placed in clean linen trolleys or sent for rewash as needed before placing all clean items into linen trolleys and take to linen store prior to re-issuing to relevant department.
- Efficiently collect and deliver laundry from and to our guest suites, accurately recording all required details, counting and verifying all items as per the laundry and dry-cleaning lists, recording collection and delivery times and individual messages and requirements.
- Immediately report any guest valuables items found in items sent for laundering.
- Support residential services team as and when required to maintain guest areas, refresh and maintain suites, and by restocking and replacing items in bedrooms and bathrooms to maintain the highest standard of cleanliness and presentation.
- On occasions, unpack guest luggage, always in the most courteous and professional manner checking all items for damage/stains and taking the appropriate action to rectify.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with the inventory, restocking and receiving of items to ensure the smooth running of the residential services department.
- Attend and contribute to departmental meetings and wider business meetings, where necessary.
- Follow and accurately complete cleaning schedules and checklists for each area of the business you are involved with.
- Maintain impeccable hygiene and cleanliness in all heart-of-house and front-of-house areas, including floors, surfaces, service stations and equipment.
- Safely handle, package, store and care for high-value and luxury items.
- Follow and uphold health & safety protocols in line with luxury hospitality standards.
- Uphold our exceptional standards while demonstrating passion and flare in the pursuit of service excellence.
- Actively involved in the day-to-day operation through observance, collaborating proactively with team members across our wide range of facilities.
