Key responsibilities:
- Plan and teach lessons and sequences of lessons to the class(es) you are assigned to teach within the context of the academy's knowledge-rich curriculum
- Assess, monitor, record and report on the learning needs, progress, and achievements of assigned pupils, planning and adapting your practice to ensure the best possible outcomes
- Provide professional guidance to colleagues, working closely with staff, parents and other agencies
- Be an excellent role model - exemplifying a high standard of teaching and promoting high expectation for all members of the school community
- Maintaining the highest expectations for all children
Qualifications and skills:
- Relevant degree or equivalent
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Experience of working as a class teacher in a primary school setting in Key Stage 2
- Alignment to the Four Cs Academy Trust values
- Knowledge of strategies to support learning, progress, and standards across the curriculum including evidence of impact on progress
- Principles and practices of high-quality teaching and learning
- Ability to build effective relationships with colleagues, parents/carers and members of the community
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
