You will work four nights per week across two nearby homes in Taunton, both located within an approximate 2‑mile radius of each other. One home supports five gentlemen, while the other supports three men and one woman, all with a range of disabilities and support needs. Each night you will play a vital part in creating a safe, calm and comforting environment where people feel secure, respected and well‑supported.
Responsibilities
- Carry out regular keeping‑safe checks to ensure everyone is comfortable and settled.
- Maintain a clean, hygienic and welcoming environment throughout the night.
- Accurately record important information using IT systems, including support notes and health and safety checks.
- Create a reassuring, therapeutic atmosphere that promotes wellbeing.
- Support people with their evening or nighttime routines in ways that matter to them.
- Provide personal care when required, always with dignity, compassion and respect.
